Used in a variety of applications like strain relieving high profile components, tacking wire, sealing and encapsulating corrosion sensitive components, sealing and bonding wire and cable connects, and repairing rubber gaskets and seals. These adhesive/sealants adhere to metals, glass, ceramics, silicone rubber and most plastics.
  • RTV 5140: Self-leveling RTV sealant used for potting, sealing and coating of electronic devices. Cures to form a tough rubber ocating upon exposure to atmospheric moisture. Meets MIL-A-46146B, Group 1, Type 2. Tensil Strength - 400 PSI; Elongation - 250%; Tear Strength - 100 PLI; Dielectric Strength - 380 volts/mil.
