A hammerdrill/ drill/ 1/2" driver three-speed transmission matches each speed to the appropriate application, providing maximum performance for every job. The speed shifting control is positioned front to back and has positive detent stops so you can easily shift between various speeds. A two-collar design lets you switch drilling modes without changing the clutch setting. A high-power, high-efficiency frameless motor delivers increased performance for drilling and fastening applications. The chuck self-tightens to prevent bits from slipping and has twice the bit holding strength of traditional ratcheting chucks (18V model). Both drills have 30 percent more runtime than previous XRP™ drills.
