High temperature masking compounds are designed to protect component-free areas of printed circuit boards during the soldering process. Permits component insertion after soldering, due to parts shortage, heat sensitivity or custom circuit designs. Prevents solder from adhering to gold fingers, contacts, terminals, screwheads or plated-through holes. Two types of masking compounds. One year shelf life.
